alright. so here's my gameplan. I'm going to run t5 actinics with powerbrites and then if people ask I'm going to turn on the mh. It'll help keep down on the heat also! Thanks for the responses.

This might cause some stress if you keep turning the MH on and off.

i go to a LOT of swaps ... i dont like buying from an actinic lit tank. it makes the buy disappointing when you get it home and put in a PROPERLY lit system. just my $.02

Nothing wrong with the nice blues, seen some LED's that must be like 25k or more lol! Personally imo 20k seems the best for both parties, seems allot of people are running 14k spectrum (myself included love my 14k phoenix bulbs!) or whatever came stock in the fixture.

But.... it's all about presentation right? The WOW factor until the what the..... factor at home! Seen a few guys take some heat from people at shows for it and in their defense when EVERY coral in the flat looks as it can glow in the dark I'd wonder a bit!
