Frammer Coral Discussion

I've searched for a mouth and can't find one in either head. And it slimes up pretty good if spot fed with pretty much anything. Here's a better pic that kind of shows a better shot of the splits the one side has. Kinda odd the one side doesn't really have to many where the other has quite a few. It was in a pretty calm low flow tank before I got it.

I do agree it looks a lot like a euphyllia paradivisa. Maybe just a good bit less split tentacles. The one head really has very few and the right side has quite a few simple splits. Pics really don't show it but this thing is extremely bright. Has purple tentacles with blue and green tips... Really appreciate the input BTW! Didn't mean to hijack the thread but it kind of fell into the discussion and the thread had been dead for a while, but if popped up in a search so figured it was fitting if someone else should be looking.

Its definitely a euphyllia, it's got to have a mouth but just hard to see or not as prevalent as others. We had a hammer (ancora) that readily took to spot feeding while the large frogspawn wouldn't take spot feeding, it was weird.

Here's another comparison. I bought a small hammer about two months ago. I have it next to my little frammer for comparison. I notice a lot more little nubs on the frammer tentacles than on the purple hammer, both have the hammer shaped tentacles.

I just purchased a very similar colony. Did you ever figure out how to price the frags?

Just found this thread actually in searching value of a colony I've grown for about 3yrs now. Figured I'd add a pic of our rather large 50 head colony of neon green/purple tip frammer colony.

Ever since I discovered the frammer coral (mix of frogspawn and hammer), I’ve been wondering how rare are these, how is this coral created, and how many of you have one? Here’s a picture of mine

I have one too. Purchased from my LFS. They can vary from individual to individual.
