I’ve had this frammer coral for a week. It took it a few days to open up, but when it did it looked great. However, I had it placed too close to one of my torches so I moved it on day 6. Now it has looked like this for few days. Is it dying? Any advice?

Took a few days to open up, you moved it. Now you need a couple more days. Also your magnesium went up during this time as well
I’ve been struggling with the magnesium. It’s always been on the higher side and I don’t know why or how to get that down. The only thing I dose is alkalinity about every 5 or 6 days. And I do water changes every 2 weeks. I know there’s mag and calcium in the salt mix (I use instant ocean reef crystals)

1500 is fine. Just can tell you either tested wrong or did a water change

I bet ur good in a couple days. I've had torches in the skeleton come back. This now 10+ header was almost dead in skeleton. Leave them be and let them decide
