Hi -

On my frammer, I see two spiky red growths on the side of it. Any idea what these could be? New head growth?

Thanks,

Looks like vermatids. I would suggest just putting a small bad of super glue over them. Just be sure to not get it on the polyps of the frammer.

Thanks. I assume take it out of the water temporarily while applying the super glue?

Yes. Be sure to use gel type super glue and be careful apply it. Once applied, you can put back here it was. No need to let dry out of water, as it will start to dry (form a film at super glue area) once put back in the water.

Appears to be tube worms
Break off at bottom base and discard

100% vermetid snails. Treat as stated above, shouldnt be an issue once glued.

Typical spiral structre of vermatid. Best to glue over, as opposed to removing alone.

Zoomed in pic.

I’m on a small phone screen. If you see spiral, I agree and using same removal method
