My new Frank has this odd wrinkle that stands up. It has nice bubbles along the edge and is developing them in the center. Almost seems like that 1/4 of the mushroom grew faster so it just "pops" up. Right next to it are a sunkist and OG which lie flat. I have tried the following:
  • Glueing it to a nice flat 2" plate
  • Putting a cage over it (reduce flow and par)
  • Rotating it 90 and 180 deg
Any ideas on how to get it to lay down? Just patience and let it grow out?

Params: 8-8.3 dkh, 35 ppt salinity, 420 Ca, 1400 Mg, 0.5-1.0 NO3, 0.03 PO4, Triton ICP test all greens, par ~150 (Radion AB spectrum), med flow, Feed RS AB+ 2 times per week

Yea keep an eye on it. Mine split and ended up in my mp10. It survived though. Tough little guys. Mushroom box or cage would be a good idea

Frank the tank looks like he's showing off his "muscle" to that sexy og momma next to him...
In all seriousness though nothing to worry about.
