Yes just the basic ones. So far I like them. Threw the one over my 20 long and it fried my corals quick. Very powerful.

Yeah I'm looking to get SB reef lights for my new 75g build just not sure which fixture/s to get... I really want a timer built in but that's an additional $70 per fixture...

take your lux. divide by 50 = par +/- (100.)

I'll look into one. I'm trying to get ahold of my lfs guy to see if he can bring his parents meter over to get some readings.

A refugium.. idk I had a ball of cheto in there at one time.. it got big then died off... I thought about doing the other stuff. Not sure of its name.. it's leafy. Putting in a deep sand bed with that.. Haven'the gotten any thoughts. Or looked into it more

Thinking about tearing the tank down.
No no no not cause I want out. But rather to improve the things I know now.
1. Make over flow box smaller or even a ghost type with big portion on the outside. I have noticed I lost 4 inches all the way across the back of the tank. It's completely dark I loose all that space..
2. I would like to change from a black sand to a white sand for better reflection if you will.
3. I'd like to make make my stand a bit bigger for a gravity ato since my tank is to far from my water room to be direct fed.
4. Some odds and ends on my return pump to run a carbon and go.
Amongst other things I've figured along the way.

Finally to restart my tank and cycle it the correct way and become more in tune with my tank.

Looking for opinions before I make the move..

Other option is get into a 125 gallon and use 75 as sump...

i see life in there..... but yea, i get it. id never run gfo just to do it, but yea having a reactor to ready i get. (FWIW) just today i figured out i just stripped my nutrints w my fuge,oops)
you dont have to recycle it, that is an option.
Me, and this is imo ime. Id leave it alive, and fix the dumb stuff. I bet it would only take a day or two(three) and some(a lot)of buckets and powerheads.

Think I'll run a deep sand bed in this sump and add something to take up some of my nitrates. Maybe that'll Balance my high levels.

This will be the end of this build thread. For now. Tearing down starting fresh. To many complications as I see that I just want to start fresh.. thanks for all the advice and viewing but think for me it'll be easier to do than try and figure things out. Plus there are modificationsome I want to fix before I get to settled with this tank for a long time. Thanks again. Will be posting the new things to come when I start. The 1$ gallon sale starts the 25th and I'll get and other tank to house current members for the tear down.
