Hey guys, my mom is rescuing some Koi for a guy whose house is being foreclosed on. The bank won't know what to do with the fish, so they need to find homes for them all.

These are very large, beautiful Koi. My mom is in the pond society but they cannot find places for them all.

Anyone here have a place for some?

If so, PM me and I will give you my mom's number.

It's pretty much only today. I'm sorry for the short notice. I thought they would be able to find homes for all these cool fish...had no clue that they wouldn't be able to.

They don't want money for them. They just want decent homes. Some of them are larger than 12".

Lemme know ASAP!!

Man, the demand was overwhelming this morning apparently. She got them all homes in the like 30 minutes after she texted me asking for help and now.

I'm sorry guys...they went fast.

She said that this happens every spring so if you want me to put you on a list and she can call you when they get more Koi, I will make a list to give to her.

Just give me your names and numbers and I'll be sure to get it over to her. They should have more VERY soon, she says.

Yeah!

Well, at least I can get people on a list so they can be first in line next time! hah hah. Ding dang.

Mel, where are these fish? Or probably more appropriate, where is your mom? Is she in Middle or East TN? For future reference. :)

Thanks, Chris. I thought that was the case, but just wanted to make sure. :)

I may be able to take some if she ever has anymore to get rid of. No goldfish though. Made the mistake of mixing goldfish with koi once and ended up with very ugly babies. Lol

LOL! Seriously? That is hilarious! And a little scary... :becky:

Oh yeah. Koi and goldfish will breed pretty readily and the fry will most likely be brown and ugly. Looks a lot like a regular old carp. One good thing is they are usually sterile.
