I recently purchased a green monti cap and I believe the Urchin mistook the monti for algae and began to devour it. I recently purchased a larger tank and the Urchin came with the tank. The previous owner said the urchin was a model citizen, but I witnessed an assault and the urchin is now in prison (sump).
I would much rather see him go into a fish only/live rock set up. He is an awesome dude and devours coralline if any one wants to limit it.
