So one of my led drivers burned out at some point last night. I woke up this morning to a strong odor of burning electronics. One of my drivers for my led light for my turf scrubber had burned up. Luckily it tripped my gfci. Hopefully everything is OK I'm worried about the possibility that the fumes poisoned my tank. I will find out after work I guess. It was a cheap led panel from Amazon. I should have known better. It was advertised as ip66 and nothing was wet.

why not low tech LED light bulb if just growing algae? CREE 5000 LED light bulb in clamp shop light hangs over my refugium and I've grown lots of red ogo... $7 for 2 bulbs at local home improvement stores

Everything was fine. Thanks for your concern. I'm going with some of the 12v grow light strings. I'm runing them off my main power supply(300w atx with stand alone fuse panel), with a light sensor in my canopy as a controller.
