They are a deep water algae so they will do well in any lighting but require strong flow to keep detritus from settling on the pearls. Non invasive but over time will attach to rock. keep the colony happy its recommended to half it every so often, keep the trim and discard the rest.
Best way to hold to a rock is with a rubberband until it roots, superglue gel works too but takes longer.
