Found two of these (temporarily) free swimming worms after doing some cleaning on my lock-line return. I've seen them before but usually only at night. Each of the grids in the video is 1/4", so the entire length is about 1/2".
If it's simply a normal juvenile bristle room I'm not concerned. What concerns me slightly is how they 'wiggle swim' in the water column. It seems like an invitation for fish to eat them, and makes me wonder if they could be parasitic? I haven't noticed anything off with any fish in the tank (knock on wood).
Anyone seen these before and know what species or genus?
