Does the freeze drying process lower the nutritional value of foods ie mysis, krill, or anything for that matter? If so, is there a common thing we lose that could be replaced some other way? Are these losses slightly less with dehydrated foods?

Hoping to identify details about whatever small nutritional loss occurs, thanks!

Maybe you have some idea on this? I read chemicals are sometimes used in the process, how might the most common ones effect water parameters and what about nutritional value loss, thanks!
