Freeze dried vs frozen vs flakes?

Just curious on what you prefer feeding your tank and why? Or what kind or experiences you've had with different food.

I've been trying to read a little online about freeze dried compared to frozen versions of things such as brine shrimp or plankton, I've also heard a lot of people bash and feeding flakes

Fresh or frozen or even better live is the only way to go

I do frozen brine/mysis, a couple of different pellets (one is seaweed) and when I have time to get to the south side of town I pick up live brine when the store has it.

I prefer frozen or live, the more natural the better IMO. However, some nutrients are lost in the freezing process that aren't in the freeze drying process (so i've heard). With that said, I have known many people that have used flakes successfully for years also. Personally, I have never had any issues with quality frozen or freeze dried foods.

I have fed my fish only two foods over the years. Spectrum pellets and Hikari Seaweed pellets. They seem to do fine.

I like to feed my fish a variety. I feed mostly frozen and add in high quality flakes 2-3 times a week. I also feed nori every other day.

I feed a little of everything.....frozen mysis and krill, flakes, pellets etc.

A good flake or pellet has the advantage of being a defined diet that can be formulated to be balanced nutrition. The big thing is will your fish eat it readily?

I like to feed frozen, fresh or even better live. It just feels better.

A variety is probably a good idea.
