I am a scuba diver. I see angels pretty often: French, queen and grey. Angels are almost always seen in pairs. The other thing is they tend to hang out in the same area. But angels seem to have large ranges of about an acre. So normally they use a really large space.
I would not put any of these angels In most tanks but a 650 gallon tank might work.
Angels like to eat sponges. Often sponges are just too hard for the angel to get through the outer layer. Hawksbill turtles can eat sponges with their powerful jaws. I have seen french and grey angels grabbing the crumbs of sponge as a turtle tears into a sponge.
If you get an angel, you might go for a formulation that has sponge. I don’t know if it is required.
if you try, good luck. I see French and queen angels offered for sale. I very much doubt that very many of them of them end up in a system as big as 650. So you might as well give it a shot.
