Fresh Shrimp

I am going to Dauphin Island this weekend and have a buddy who runs a couple of shrimp boats. I can get shrimp pretty cheap, if anyone is interested in buying some, let me know. This is what he has.

26-30 count= $3.75
16-20 count= $4.75
10-15 count= $5.50

If you want any, get with me this afternoon so we can make arraingments for me to get your money. I will be coming back on Sunday. He is going out tonight so these wiill be as fresh as you can get and a lot cheaper than any where around here.

Dag, that's pretty cheap? That's a lot. It's because the shrimpers are all on strike right now. My mom has a restaurant in Slidell and she is having a tough time getting shrimp. BUT. Those prices are great for here in central AL. Just really expensive for coast prices.

Where are you getting any on the coast that cost less, I'd like to buy some? These are coming straight off the boat and are a lot cheaper than in any retail store anywhere that I have seen. If you can find them cheaper, let me know where so I can get some.

No, I was saying that that is a good price fir right now but during non strike times you shouldn't pay more than 2 bucks on the coast. Mom said she is paying around $3.50 and it's killing her.
