I can't really find anything on this. Is it okay to put soft corals in freshwater after a dip? The reason I'm wondering about a freshwater dip is to ensure there are no fish parasites hitchhiking on them. I don't have a quarantine tank. I can't really have one right now. I'm ordering from top shelf aquatics and this will be my first experience with them, dipping corals, and will be my first corals.

Fw dip imo is very stressful and only used on fish during skin or gill flukes i think in order to get them to jump ship and shock them.
I've put boxfish in the past in fw dips.
I think it was room temp rodi.
Can't remember was so long ago.
Usually I dip coral in a coral dip and than rinse in sw.
I use the same sw the coral comes in for both. Lol. Eh.
Some people are more cautious than others and it mostly depends on where your stock comes from imo as well.
