Fresh water illness

Hi, you guys have always been great as many of you are ex FW . Have an' issue with a maylandi cichlid. Was the Tank boss... Lost his way... Was fine... Then seen him getting beaten up..so this is what he looks likes now!

Hith? Bacterial? Treatment??? What is that red mark on his dorsal? His dorsal looks to have a slight fuzziness on it.

I have dosed double paraguard and Salt for the moment and I'm UK based so many USA meds arent available here.

You should airate your tank with an airstone deff... paraguard has those dyes in it.. like methelyne blue. That can lower oxygen.

The tank hes in.. does it have any filter on it ? Sorry just cant tell from the entire pic.

If he got beat up.. Id dose with some antibiotics to be sure but i dunno what you can get in the UK.

Just set it up last night so dosed with prime and ammo lock for the moment. Stone is in the Tank and getting plenty surface agitation.
