My LFS has given me a sump that was ordered with incorrect dimensions and unwanted, its 48 long x 60 high and only 8 inch wide, I calculate that at about 38 gallons, it should sit well behind my tank as I have an external weir, and the tank itself sit approximately 8 inch of my wall for that reason.

The question is will 38 Gallons of RO water be adequate and how long will it take till the point it would need a refilled, if you had to have a guess that is? My tank and sump is about 840 gallons do you guys think it would enough RO I should I get something else made up, Id be happy if it lasted a week?

thanks guys

I don’t have experience with that large of a tank but I use a 45 gal Rubbermaid container as my ato reservoir when I’m on vacation and it can last more than an month on my 55 with an 29 gal sump. However, I do run a dehumidifier 24/7

So working out the numbers and of coarse it would be vastly different due to surface area but at best it may last me day and half

Oh boy
