I’ve seen in the last items added
To freshwater dips/baths like methyl blue, etc to treat incoming fish with. I’d like to have a product on hand, that is, if the experts recommend such a bath/treatment?

I’ve got a pair of bellus angels incoming and I’d like to ha e something on hand just in case.

What does the hive recommend?

Thanks

Usually just use freshwater, but you can add methylene blue it will help the fish breathe a bit easier and some claim that it actually calms the fish a bit. Also it can help with injuries from shipping. 2 drops per liter or 8 drops per gallon. Make sure to match temp and ph. 5 minutes for dip. Remove fish if distressed. As always your mileage may vary with this process.

Will do. Thanks.

One last question. What’s the quickest and easiest way to check pH in a gallon to five of freshwater?
