I sometimes stay up till 1-2am "working" on sick fish.

Next time use acriflavine in lieu of formalin. Look for "Ruby Reef Rally".

Well he's still alive this morning but still staying at the top of tank !! Just wanted to give an update

I have a blue tang that gets ich when i do water changes and i even turn out the lights while doing the water change hoping that would help him not stress. It worked well this last water change. He has been fighting it for a couple days now. It seems like it will almost completely clear up and then the next day we start over...any suggestions?
