Freshwater dip

He's not looking good , been on his side since early this morning before I left :(

I made him get up and he went up by the heater so I will eek when I get off today if he made it or not but the odds are against him for sure

Well.got home yesterday and my purple tang was not doing good just laying on his side so I did another freshwater dip for 8 minutes to try to relieve him and pulled some copper out incase he was having a reaction to the copper and made a acclimation box to keep him contained instead of floating around the tank . To my surprise he is doing better today and is swimming around :)

I put him the tank to see how he does for a little while !! He finally ate a few pieces of brine shrimp :)

The first video was a water jug that I threw together last night and drilled some wholesalers in it so the power head wouldn't blow him all over and plus I put two air stones from the bottom of it so he had plenty of oxygen

Second video is when I took him out the jug and put him in the tank for a while to see how he does , I might put him back in the jug tonight and tomorrow until I'm sure he's strong enough to swim for a while by himself

Yes hopefully he does , he's not swimming perfect, but he couldn't swim at all for two days so I say that's a complete turn around for lucky :)

He's swimming around fine this morning :)

Hopefully velvet is dropping off him now, but you need to ensure the Cu level is at therapeutic to protect him from reinfection. When do your other fish in QT go into the DT? I have a plan.

Well the 28th they are done with copper and was planning on treating them with prazipro after , why what you thinking Mr Bobby?
