Freshwater dip

My Blenny has been itching a bit lately so I decided to do a fw dip on all the fish in the tank. All the other fish did good but the Blenny was freaking out. I had to leave so I couldn’t watch the fish for long. When I came back the Blenny was dead laying in my rock flower. There were no signs of flukes or other disease on any of the fish. Does anyone know why he specifically died of all the fish? He has survived a fw dip before. I feel bad cause he was my favorite fish ...

He could have had a bad case of flukes on his gills and the flukes spasming could have effected his ability to take in O2.

Yea I guess I’ll have to work on treating the other fish

I’m actually getting a bigger tank soon and I planned on moving all of the fish in this tank to the bigger one. That would be a good chance to set up a quarantine and medicate all of the fish while transferring them.
