I originally bought a tank for freshwater. It came with everything all in a package. I converted it immediately to a sw tank.
I have power heads so is it ok to unplug the bubble blowing pump in there now? It's just makes bubbles and the tank looks awful. Thanks

Is the pump doing nothing more than supplying bubbles? If so, then yes, you can remove it. Bubble makers are normally not used in saltwater.....people actually try to figure out ways to eliminate bubbles, not add them.

Yeah that is all it is doing. I just wasn't sure if I needed the extra oxygen or whatever. The bubbles drive me crazy, I will be removing it thanks.

+1 not needed

I used to have a bubble volcano in my tank with a very high air flow, which soon after placing it in I realized there was more dried salt on my filtration than normal, other words for sure not need,if not makes thing worse.
