Yesterday I watched a 4" bristle worm get cozy with the glass heater. He wrapped around it like a boa constrictor and seemed comfortable.
Then the heater came on and bristle worms are not really good jumpers so he fried. :squigglemouth:
The arrow crab who loves fried foods walked over and unwrapped the worm and has been feasting all night.

That's Awesome!

I just tore down my 75 and put up a 125 and there were some bristles in the sump alive and well 2 days later in a very small puddle of water. Those things can take almost anything, except a heater I guess.

They do seem to be tough animals

Yummy :)

How do you like the arrow crab? Have you had any issues with it eating your fish or inverts?

I have been keeping arrow crabs almost since Nixon was President and I never had an issue with any of them except you can't keep them with coral banded shrimp. It seems that whichever one sheds first, gets eaten by the other.

Cool. I don't really like coral banded shrimp anyway- they can be mean!
