I have - probably many dozens of these worms . I read they are harmless and good cleanup crew. I don't remember their name. Only come out at night.

Question is do they or will they harm my hammer corral. Seems my hammer is receding the skeleton is becoming more exposed. It could be the dang Gold Goby. I have two and they are always in it and picked at it a while back. It did eat my acropora.

Thoughts? This may not be the right group - except to identify the worm. Just a few questions.

Thanks in Advance.

The worm looks like a bristleworm/dorvelleidae which wont harm the coral. I would bet that the goby is the culprit.
