Looks like a slug, but I haven’t a clue what it is, or if I should leave it or squash it. Any ideas?

I can’t quite make out what the back looks like well enough, but I’d guess an Arminid (taxonomic family Arminidae) species of some variety, possibly a Dermatobranchus sp.

Do you have any octocorals in the tank? (Soft corals, gorgonians, gsp, etc.?) I ask because Arminids feed on octocorals.

I do. Which is the main reason I removed the little critter shortly after I posted the last pic. Better safe than sorry with hitchhikers.
