Friend or Foe?

I haven't added anything to my tank in a few months. This popped up in my tank this morning. The coral near it are all shriveled up and are usually 3x the size they are in the picture. If you look closely, the body is a continuous worm-like body, not segments. Any idea what this is? Should I burn it with fire or keep it?

Those are snail eggs. That isn’t what is bothering your corals. How old is your tank?
