I just spotted these little guys on the thermometer right before I was going to do a water change. Picture quality isn’t the beat but they look like little worms with spikes on the sides. Should I be worried or are they okay?

Pretty sure they are bristleworms. I know there are kinds that are okay and some that aren’t. Hopefully these are the ones that are okay?

Standard bristle worm. They wont hurt anything. They typically come out at night. Good addition to CUC if you don't mind having ugly worms in aquarium. Be careful if removing them as their bristles are like fiber glass in your skin.

I'm a marine insulator, those thing are far worse than fiberglass[emoji51]. The one that got me felt like a needle with lava at the end.
