Pretty sure this is a stomatella snail but I wanted to get a second opinion. Thanks!

If the shell doesn’t cover the whole snail then yes it’s a stomatella.

Those look like aliens when they breed though. Yes stomatella sorry. Also if you try to grab them they usually leave a piece of tail behind.

They can but they would always get sucked into gyre and emerald crabs eating them. They ended up going extinct in that system.

Stoma and yes they do! Very much so. I ended up with a single hitchhiker and now have so many it isn’t funny… fast little suckers and mow a ton of algae and detritus
