still can't put a finger on what these clove looking things are? I only find them on the sand bed next to my Duncans.
any clues?

While they can spread, I do like them
 
what are they? They are slowly spreading but once i clean my sand bed they disappear and takes a while for them to come back. lol
Oops, , , its anthellia- often confused with cloves
 
I personally would remove with extreme prejudice. Most of these stoloniferous soft corals are capable of taking over a tank and are extremely difficult to eradicate once established.
