I have Fritz Part 2 Calcium and can't find a dosing calculator.

My Calcium is at 360 and I'd like to bring that up to 425 I guess. I have an 80 gal tank.

The bottle says "Each ml of PART 2 will increase the calcium in 1 US gallon (3.78 L) of water by 15 ppm. One teaspoon (5 ml) will raise 10 US gallons by 7 ppm. Do not exceed 10 ml per 10 gallons daily. "

How much do I dose? When I calculated it, I came up with 371 ml? That seems crazy, so before I do anything, I wanted to ask.

If you can show me the math, it would be greatly appreciated!

I get 344 mL to boost calcium by 65 ppm in 80 gallons.

1 mL boosts 1 gal by 15 ppm.

you need 4.3 times that amount to boost by 65 ppm.

80 x 4.3 = 344 mL
Hi Randy…. Thanks as always for your support. If I’m following you (which is a BIG “if,” lol), is the calculation: total ppm you want to raise by divided by 15, then multiply that amount by total gallons in your system? If not, can you give the formula you used based on the Fritz 2-part dose that the OP is using? Thanks!
