Been using Fritz for about a year now and have been happy with it because it mixes near the parameters I am currently keeping. I have noticed that I have to mix more than 1/2 cup per gallon to get to my SG of 1.025-1.026.

Has anyone else had this problem or know why this is happening?

Yea I have to mix a bit more than 1/2 cup per gallon gas well. But it's still fairly close. I love fritz too. Best salt I've ever used. And I can get it for just a bit more than a box of IO base salt costs. And my corals love the ALK level and I like the consistency.

Could either/ both of you post your params on a fresh batch?

Can get a deal on this locally but see no info around.

Thanks!

I would recommend mixing a little longer, but 30-45 max when temp is also ready

I am debating switching from Red Sea Coral Pro to Fritz. I hear the levels are so much better.

Be Careful when doing this switch and keep an eye on your Alkalinity parameters. The Alkalinity in the Redsea Coral Pro is like 12 DKH and Fritz is like 8.5.
I am not saying you shouldn't do it but make sure to go real slow so you don't wipe out your corals

I thought this was crazy... my ORP barely dropped with a 15% water change. The big drop on the left was a 20% water change with HW last week.
