I have never cycled a tank like this, I followed the directions, used two bottles on my 130 gallon tank and added two fish. My question is simple, how long does the tank remain cloudy.

I removed the filter sock and have not started the skimmer yet. The tank looks like used dish water lol

The instructions say to keep the tank like this for 4 days with no filter media whatsoever. Again since I have only ever cycled with live rock, it's kind of unsettling to see soup in my tank lol

Anyone with experience please chime in lol

If the tank is a bit cloudy, make sure to have a lot of water circulation (maybe put a wavemaker upward to disturb the surface).

You can put socks and filter media in after two days or so. The reason why they ask you to not do so at first is because the bacteria likes surfaces and can end up initially attaching to media or socks that you will rinse or throw out.
