Hey everyone!

Just got my first frag about 3 weeks ago for LPS.

I love the way this guy fills out my tank but, i just recently have started to see it brown a little.

I just completed a water change and my parameters are.

Salinity 1.024
Nitrate undetectable
ph 7.9
Calc- 460
Alk- ~9dkh

Current dosing for the past week: Just started to use kalkwasser at about 1TSP per 5 gal (really low ammount)
Feeding is every day i dose red sea reef energy and twice a week i drop every small flakes on it.

Lighting is Reef breeder photon 24
- i just turned the lights up 10% to test it out

Currently running channel 1(blues) at 40% and channel 2 (reds, whites, yellows) on 50% and will decrease that by 10% tonight then another 5% on friday so i get more blues

Does it look like lighting could be causing the brown underneath?

The frag is located toward the bottom with very little flow

Yea i know... i didnt think it affect it that bad so quickly. I just did a water change on monday so hopefully it will bounce back today

Keep us updated. Same situation on my end.... 20+ head frog spawn acting up. Been a week and I finally got pH to 8.2. Had to move it to frag tank. I got nervous.

So i know its been a while but my frogspawn has split :) went from 1 head to 2. Happy reefer! They grow up so fast :bounce:

Thanks! Funny part is about that weird color spot, thats exactly where the split is occuring. Not sure if its related but just wanted to point it out if anyone lurks the forums in the future
