Hi guys
Looking for some expert's opinion...

So about a month ago I upgraded to a 75 gallon and everything has been going great so far. I had Current USA led lights on my previous tank and now upgraded to AI 26 Hydras. My frogspawn, that used to be 120% open with the Current lights, got a little shy at first and only opened about 50% on the first 3 weeks. Now it finally fully opened, but I noticed it has bleached quite a lot. I'm wondering if it's because of the stronger AI lights (currently set at 40% only) or if it's because the new tank has barely any nitrate built up at this point.

Should I move it to a lower spot so it can recover or just leave it be? It looks happy other than bleached.

Also, is there a guide for euphyllia corals ideal PAR levels? I can't find anything consistent.

Water parameters are quite stable, salimity at 1.023, 0 ammonia/nitrite and below 5ppm nitrate.

Thanks!

The salinity is a bit low but I suspect the lights are to blame. The hydra is way more light than the current. I believe there's an acclimation mode on the light but I have zero experience with it. If you can I'd move the coral into lower light. #reefsquad anyone familiar with hydra leds?

Yes, let me get back on this later:)

Correct. It's probably not happy with the new light. Going from current usa to a hydra 26 is like going from a 3 cylinder geo metro to a 6.2l supercharged corvette. Turn the lights down a little and move it to the bottom of the tank. These guys like low light and low flow.

My frogspawn is in the 160 to 180 range. I need to make a par chart of my tank lol
