Frogspawn coral

I just bought a new frogspawn coral it's pretty small frag well anyways I just added him to the tank and realized it's not opening up all the way I do have the right led lights. Is it because it's new to the tank?

Mine was like that for a couple of days. It seems to like decent flow on it and looks like you have enough light.

It will take a few days (or longer) to acclimate to your tank's parameters/light. The euphyllia I keep seem to prefer gentle flow.

Put it in the sand bed to start and wait for it to open up nicely. Let it be for a bit and slowly start to move it up. Mine prefers the sand bed and it's over a year old

Took mine 2 weeks to be happy under MH. Its on rock but very low and very low flow... dirty water too seems to favor them

If it isn't happy it will pop out of the coral frame it grows.

Frogspawns seem to like different locations for different people. I recall someone having their frogspawns open and grow only on specific rocks in his tanks. What species is it?
