I just purchased this frogspawn on Saturday and it looked really healthy when I got and brought it home. But just yesterday he started to look the pic. I thought maybe it was flow so I moved it but it's still the same this afternoon. The following are more parameters as of yesterday.
Day 73 28aug

Ammonia .25

Nitrite 0

Nitrate 0

Calcium 460

Phosphate 0

Kh 10-11

Ph 7.8-8.0

Salinity 1.025
I don't have a test kits yet to test mag but will be getting one soon. This morning the water felt very cold and I have 2 thermometers and one reads 76 and the other reads 88. I think that my heater is going bad so I will be getting a new soon also. Any suggestions on what I should do about the frogspawn? I also noticed a crack in the side of it don't know if you can see it in the pic. Thanks for your support.

73 days is kind of new. Also as RyanCSGO stated, your ammonia should be zero or at least undetectable. Are you sure your tank has completely cycled? It seems as if the recession happened quickly, which leads me to believe that water chemistry is at fault. Tank may not be completely cycled and a frog spawn should be added when the tank is a little more mature. Need some trace of nutrients in your tank for many LPS euphyllias or more feedings.

Yes I believe my tank has cycled bc my numbers have been hold at all 0's for a while now. Yes I know it's a fairly new tank but I have read and seen people a lot more than me far quicker. I dose every other day with marine Kent part a and b nano and every week and water changes I dose with fluval cycle to add bacteria and I do see the white pods that swim around my tank bc I see my 2 clowns eat those all the time plus my normal feeds twice a day but small amounts to not over feed.
