frogspawn growth

So I got a frogspawn with 4 heads like a month ago and 2 of the heads have 2 mouths what does this mean? and since i saw the 2 mouths the tentacles have shortened up could it be cause its splitting?

2 mouths definitely mean splitting, however the amount of time can vary for it to completely split. A lot of the times the base will stay fused for a while before the two heads completely separate

I've never observed shortening of tentacle as they split. I've got several heads splitting right now and they all look the same, if for anything slightly larger. I'd say flow is more likely factor but if it's not extreme I wouldn't sweat it.
