Frogspawn help: White lines on the tentacles and brown strings

I recently noticed some white lines on the frogspawn tentacles and brown stringy stuff coming out of it. Is that a normal thing for frogspawns to do? If not what’s causing it to do that?

Yea the lines have disappeared but I see like a brown thing near its base. I have attached a snap. Managed to click a picture when the lights went off. Hope this is not brown jelly

I do not see brown jelly disease. Brown jelly looks like a mass of brown goop, a blob. Brown jelly disease sets in quickly and kills quickly.
Still looks like an acclimating Euphyllia to me.

If it is BJD you will know the whole coral becomes covered in a brown jelly covering all flesh of the coral in like a matter of a day. As far as the brown string the coral is expelling zooxanthellae. The spot on the side of the coral is probably a sponge. Picture of BJD

Expelling zooxanthellae, is that normal ? Should I need to do something to avoid it?

It is mucous which they can emit. Use a turkey baster in the future to GENTLY blow off.
Brown stuff is poop.

Thank you much for all your responses. I am new to reefing and this is my tank. Trying to learn as much as I can.

That's a nice little setup but looks very new. I wish you luck but being new to the hobby with a new tank (white rocks and sand) you may loose some coral as you go through the ugly stages. Also, toadstools are cool but just be aware that it will fill that whole tank full grown

I'm finding it hard to follow what your questioning. The blue arrow is either a sponge, vermetid snail, algae, etc. The yellow is pointing to normal coral flesh. This coral looks normal but stressed (should be more open).
Here's some photos of two of mine, the first one you can see the flesh extending all the way down on the base to where it meets the rock, this is a good normal thing the coral is just closing up for the night so it's not fully open. The second is a hammer very similar to yours all opened up, this is what you want yours to look like.

Nothing to worry about that is part of the coral it is the tissue of the coral
