Hello I have had this frogspawn for about two months. At the beginning it looked like a normal one with green and purplish tips. For the last month it has been neon green with white tips. The on param that is off is calcium and that is at 380. Salt is 1.023. It is in a biocube 14 and under the stock light. Any ideas on what is wrong would be appreciated. I have moved it around to see if it would like another spot but nothing has worked. Thanks for the help

I have mine about half way up in tank.Yours looks healthy are you feeding? Your calcium level is a little low but not a problem. Can you tell us what kind of lighting you have and your other water parameters such as nitrate, phosphates, alkalinity? Also to add you might want to bring up your salinity to around 1.025 slowly.

Cal little low, SG should be 1.025-1.027. Also gonna need your Alk and Mag, Nitrate and Phosphate readings. If your stock lighting is Power compact, I'd start looking for an upgrade soon.

Compact fluorescents. Put it at the top for awhile nothing changed. Moved it back down. Nitrate and phose are both 0. Don't have a test for mag and alk.

Gonna need those numbers, as the hard corals use Alk and Mag with Cal.

accually most big brand pet stores and my LFS Slippery rock corals keep it around 1.022 - 1.024 so his salinity is perfect... any way not all systems are the same so just feed it more. also buy some zoanthaxxe or what ever it is called I feedminethat and it seems to be doing increasingly well!

I Am highly aware that the ocean is high and so are most but my corals (especialy my frogspawn....) LOVE LOW SALIN!!!!!

I've had my salinity at 1.023 with no problems. I think the color change has to do more with the lighting. The calcium is lower than I would recomend. I keep mine at 440-450. Mag is at 1200-1220. My corals do good at those parimiters.

My frogspawn let me know my refractometer was off. I lost half the colony due to low salinity. It was 1.021.
