Any ideas why my frogspawn doesnt stay open? He seems to open up somewhat but never seems fully extended. I have him in a lower light somewhat under a ledge and a lower flow area. He was up high before but I thought maybe thats why he didnt extend fully (being closer to the light) running 2 gen 3 xr30s set on color plus I believe its called. Dont mind the goni, it was mad I moved it for the pic. Water test results today were
Ph 8.15
Nitrate 5
Po4 .1
Ca 450
Mag 1275
Alk 10

Hard to tell from the picture but is it a wall frogspawn? Never had good luck with wall euphyllia's. I have some branching frogspawn that do well in low to some in indirect flow.

Its a branching frogspawn not wall. It has a baby head developing on the lower portion but doesnt seem to be growing much

How long have you had it, and how long was it in the old spot and where it is now?
I have had it about 2.5 months or so it was up high for probably the first 2 months or so and down for 2 weeks. I slid it over into the shade of the overhang and it seemed a bit more open
