Hey all, so my original frogspawn was my first coral, about 4 months ago it started to not extend fully and led to all heads bailing out, could never figure out the reason. So about one month ago I got another one, 2 weeks in all was well, as of a week ago it started to not extend and one has bailed out so far. Here is a picture (lights were off), basically same polyp extension though. Parameters (using basic api test kit, picture as well), ph 8.2 Ammonia 0 ppm Nitrite 0 ppm Nitrate 15ppm.

Flow in tank is on the higher side, I believe 900, recently cleaned powerhead caused big change in flow rate. Although frogspawn isn’t being hit with flow directly or hard. I’m using a hydra 26 hd. My tank is a 24 gal. Here are my light settings

my euphyllia kind of looked like that a week or two ago, i ended up touching the water and it was much colder than normal.. high 60s-low 70s (stupid heaters). just something to check off your list. everything else in my tank looked ok, just the euphyllia seemed particularly displeased with the situation

It’s currently at 78, does fluctuate though sometimes. Although my hammer coral and octospawn are doing great, I have no idea why it’s happening again.

What is your calcium, alkalinity and magnesium?

It's really not happy for some reason, and it could be related to parameters but it could also be related to where it's placed in the tank. Are there other corals around it?
