Hi everyone!! Pretty new to reefing here but have been researching for what seems like forever! One of our first corals was a frogspawn he seemed happy and healthy then recently has not been opening up completely. At first I thought it was getting ready to split since it was kind of pinching at the center and almost looked like 2 heads were forming. I could even see 2 different mouths. But now he just won’t open at all.
I will post a before pic when he was nice and open then the other ones are of him “pinching” and then the most recent one of him just not opening. We have a hammer coral close by that is doing great so not sure what the issue is?
I would love some advise here!! Thank you!

Doesn’t look bad. Assure it’s not getting too much water flow which can upset them
Same applies to high:
Alk
Salinity
Lighting
Ca
Temperature

Thanks! Levels are:
Alk 9.5
Salt 1.025
Lighting - lower part of the tank next to other torches and hammers doing fine
Cal 454
Temp 78
Nitrate and nitrite are at 0

Moved him to where the flow was a little lower but he seems to be closing even more. So not sure what’s going on with him!
