I'm sorry, but that frogspawn is as good as dead. The flesh is almost totally gone.Hi everyone, i recently got this frogspawn coral had for about a week and it hasn’t really opened up since getting it. I have moved it around the tank trying to find the right place for it but it doesn’t look to happy any ideas what could be wrong?
A hard coral that puts out long stingers. i was taking a guess that the green ones were a type. What is the green coral?
It's a type of coral that aggressively stings nearby corals.
The mushrooms can also kill other corals. It's best not to put different types of coral too close to other types. These aren't flowers in a garden, and some don't co-exist well
Can you get a picture of it under white lights? Also, each time you move a coral it stresses it out.
Yeah, unfortunately, it's pretty much dead. As I said before, it's lost almost all its flesh.
i’ll keep this in mind for next time i didn’t know about this flesh ban. I can’t remember exactly if it had a flesh ban or not when i purchasedThere is zero flesh ban. Did you buy it like this? I like to see at least an inch of flesh ban on the skeleton under the head when I’m buying a torch, hammer and frogspawn. Sorry but this one doesn’t look like it can come back. Here is the flesh ban on one of my torches, the white is the flesh.
