Hello fellow reefers,

Been to the lfs today and seen both a frogspawn and torch coral that I like but will only be getting one or the other if possible. Ideally I would like to place either coral next to my hammer coral but rather than buy on impulse and the fact I’m only 3 months into the hobby always like to research first and go back to purchase the following day. So can either coral be placed next to my hammer or is this a bad idea?

Thanks in advance

Dom

I've got two types of frogspawn up against 3 types of hammers, no issue. I gave my torches a bit more room, but haven't tested it.

Frog spawn and hammers can usually live side by side with no issues but torches I understand can’t live next to any coral

Thank you for the replies, sorry for the newbie question but are torch corals a lot more aggressive than frogspawn and hammer?

Torch coral are very aggressive mainly because they have long sweeper tentacles The other 2 have sweeper tentacles also but the torch is longer and stings everything
