I can add pictures later but I was wondering if the following was normal. I recently added a frogspawn and torch. The frogspawn seems to be on its own schedule where it opens up hours after the light have been on and continues getting bigger into the moonlight setting which I have at 5% blue. It remains pretty closed for a couple of hours into the light schedule.

Lights are programmed to come on at 7:30 and ramp up for 1.5 hours. Sunset is at 5:30 and ramps down for 1.5

A. How long have you had it?
That has happened to me with some coral based on the "schedule" they were use to from the location i purchased them from.

just since Friday. It was a LFS so I’m sure the schedule wasn’t much different. Maybe later since the close at 7. This is what is looks like late in the day:

try sliding it into an indirect light area of the tank.. see what happens. slowly move it back over into the spot you want over a few weeks.

This happened to a few of mine I would assume just because they were not acclimated to the lighting intensity in my tank. I added them in indirect light off to the very corner of my tank where there is super low par and over the course of 2 weeks gradually moved them closer to their final spot and within a few days they were fine. They can be a bit temperamental IMO when it comes to changing lighting. Flow is another big one make sure they are in relatively low flow just to give them a little sway or they will stay closed up.
