The heads are taking turns getting ticked off. It's been fairly closed up for at least a week now, and each day a random head is more closed than the others and releasing a neon green slime.

Any ideas what's going on? I might have exacerbated the problem by messing with flow/lighting to see if that was the case.

Before the parameter police show tip, they are normal. No other LPS or SPS, clams, or anemone in my tank are having any problems.

Should preempt the parameter police and post your parameters, everyone and their mother will say "parameters are normal" and come to find out, they're not. Pictures will also be helpful

If it were a problem that could be solved with a simple google search and diagnoses bases on my parameters not meeting what is considered normal I wouldn't be posting.

Frogspawns rarely release neon green slime. It's a pretty specific symptom. Not to be rude, but I'd find a new doctor if I went in with a broken leg and they ask if me to do a strep test.

Just getting the questions that you're going to be asked out of the way, no need to get hostile ;Joyful BTW, if you go to the doctor with a broken leg, they're still going to take your blood pressure and get your temperature. Your analogies need work.

A picture would do wonders to help the "doctor" with a diagnoses.

It would be helpful to see what shape the frogspawn is in and what the slime looks like.

Do you have a microscope? Is it possible to take a sample of the slime?

I feel like someone either had this happen before and knows the issue or it's going to be a lot of random spitballing.

I've had Euphyllia look the same as your picture before they kicked the bucket.

Any possibility of tank mates getting aggressive with the frogspawn or accidental contact during maintenance? When closed up I believe I have also seen the same thing happen when it's been hit, almost like squishing the tentacles and it turns to a bit of a goo.

Did you feed it?

Only time my frogspawn release slime is when I try to feed them.

I broadcast feed reefroids and oyster feast sometimes, but it's been doing this with or without that.

My fire shrimp has taken a liking to it recently, but they have bene tank mates for over a year. So I don't know if he's just trying to clean it up, or if he's causing the problem by not leaving it alone.
