I've been in the hobby for a few years with saltwater but I'm a bit of a newb with corals and just starting off. This tank has been up for 6 weeks and cycle is complete with the addition of fish. So I thought it would be time for some corals. Picked up some eagle eyes, gsp, xenia, and a frogspawn almost a week ago. Everything is looking good but the frogspawn.

Alright! Welcome to the coral world. To start off the Diagnosis of your problem we are going to need to know a few things. What type of lighting are you running, If lLED, what percentage. What type of flow is this little fella in. and finally, what are your prameters:
Ph-
Temp-
Ammonia-
Nitrite-
Nitrate-
Phosphate-
Calcium-
Magnesium-
Alkalinity-

This information can lead us to what may be the cause of this guy not puffing up for you. Remember, it might still be settling in:)

Did you dip this frag to kill pest? I'd kill those vermetid snails before they multiply, especially a new system.

Give'em some food like LPS pellets, Roids or a mysis and see if that helps.
I didnt even see that! good catch. Those may be causing irritation as well.

Okay well to start im running a current usa orbit marine LED's i have my blues at 75 % and the white channel at 50%.
temp 78
salinity 1.025
PH 8.0
Alk-11 dkh
ammonia-0 ppm
nitrite-0 ppm
nitrate-0 ppm
phosphate-0 ppm
calcium-400 ppm
i dont have a Magnesium test kit yet. but i did order one.
i did not dip them cause i didnt have any at the time but i do have Coral RX on order.
i have ordered some roids as well and will try that when it gets in.
ID also note that i dont at any suplements to the water i just do weekly water changes with instant ocean reef salt.

Okay. Euphyillia need "dirty" water. Try to boost. Nitrates to 2-5 and Phosphates up to .2-.5. The problem is he is starving to death.

Well it doesn't look too bad. You have allot of good recommendations here. I have some wonderful LPS and I don't hand feed any of them, so I would not worry about that at this point. Inspect the coral as previous stated and dip if needed. You should always dip your corals before introducing them to your aquarium. If you make sure you have good stable parms you whould not have an issue. Your alk is at the upper limit so keep an eye on it. That zero phosphates is not good for anybody over long period of time. You need to address that. I have an sps dominant reef and keep mine between .04 and .1 when I don't change my GFO.

Okay so I did a water change removed my bag of carbon and purigen and am only using filter floss for filtration. To hopefully raise nitrates and phosphates. And I removed and diped my corals with coral rx. Killed a few pest and back in they went. The next day I noticed these little white fuzz balls on the frogspawn almost like cotton. Any ideas on what that could be?
