My frogspawn coral is wimpy, not extending out a lot, no dead branches there are 4, placed at bottom of 55 gallon tank, not real strong current, marine snow fed 1x weekly, all parameters good, ph- 8, calcium - 400, nitrates 0, ammonia 0. Lighting is 8 slimpak 54 watt T5's. Placed well away from other corals, not touching live rock. Not getting picked at by fish?? When my corals aren't happy, neither am I. Suggestions???

How long have you had it? Mine doesn't like being moved and may take several weeks after being relocated before it puffs back up to full size. Also, mine doesn't like a lot of light.

How is the color? I had temp issues in the past and my frogspawn first started not fully extending its polyps and then started to lose color and became almost transparent. I had a faulty digital thermometer. My frogspawn grows without me target feeding and it also kills my monti digi coral near it.

I've had it about 8 years, but moved it to a different tank when my 12 year old fully stocked gorgeous tank crashed at the hands of the housesitter:cry:Recently moved in april of this year and hasn't done that well since, had it towards the back of the tank with less current and less light and it just sat there, almost transparent colored, tips are washed out looking and the coral itself is just not healthy and robust like it use to be at all. What calcium level is recommended???
