Hello. Im new to the hobby. I have a frogspawn in my tank about 1/3 away from the bottom. its away from any other corals. Its just a frag right now. Its been happy and opening up super wide and still does ive had it for about a month and a half now Thing is i do not know if its getting too much flow. Or too little flow... Same with light . i dont know if its too much or too little. Ive noticed a couple of its "tentacles" near the trunk . are turning dark brown. And a couple like if they were drying out. Skinnier than others. I also have green star polyps. Yellow star polyps. Candycane mushroom. 2 kenya trees. Armor of god zoa and pink zipper and they are all perfectly fine. What could be the issue here with the frogspawn ?

Mine do that from time to time. I keep mine in moderate flow, not high flow. As far as lighting goes what do you have?

Why do they do that. Yeah mine i have woth moderate flow. And i have oddesea quad T5 2 460 nm on in the morning 1 actinic and q 10000k daylight both on during the day then at nigjt again the 2 460 nm on withought the white and actinic.

From the photo, your frogspawn looks fine. They just do weird things from time to time. Sometimes mine retract and are back out in minutes. That's mine, and with the flow on them they pretty much just barely sway.

Thats a beauty. Do you feed it anything ? Or add any elements to your tank?

I make sure when I do my feedings I include things the corals can get. And other than that, once a week I spot feed them (if I remember to)

Lol what do you feed the corals ? I give mine baby brine and mysis . and add trace elements once a week

Is this pic a filter or edited? Looks awsome.

I have 6 types of euphillia and mine enjoy almost any setting. As you can see I have them placed mostlymid to lower with one high and varying flows on all.

Did you see how mine was ? Is that normal?

Gee wiz!! Lol that's a lot of corals! Tank looks great! And all I did was lighten the color a bit

Polyp extension is great. Color is a bit dark but might just be the type or lighting in pic. I would say no worries unless it stops opening. :-)

You have no idea. I have a problem! Lol 12 fish and a bunch of inverts. All in my 40b! Shhhhhh;-)
That's an awesome looking 40, I thought it was much bigger than that due to the amount of things in it.

So i shouldnt worry about the dark areas close to the trunk and some tentacles looking dark and skinny like "dry" then . thanks for your help !
